The International webinar on the topic of "Biodiversity and development of protected natural territories"May 22, 2017, the Department of "Botany, chemistry and ecology" of the Saratov state agricultural university (Russia) together with the UO the Grodno state University named after Yanka Kupala (Belarus) held a webinar on the theme "Biodiversity and development of protected natural territories".
The moderator of the event was the head of the Department of "Botany, chemistry and ecology", Dr. Biol. Sciences, Professor I.V. Sergeeva

Who took part in this webinar? - The representatives from 13 state, regional and municipal authorities, scientific and educational institutions, public organizations that are active in the sphere of environmental protection and natural resources of Saratov, Saratov region and the Republic of Belarus: the Saratov state agricultural university; the Grodno state University named after Yanka Kupala (Belarus); the Belarus state University (Belarus); the Grodno zoo (Belarus).




The Department of the state control of protection and using of land, flora and fauna, mineral resources and especially protected natural territories of the Grodno regional Committee of natural resources and environmental protection (Belarus);
Republican landscape reserve "Ozery" (Belarus); the Public chamber of the Saratov region; of the SSTU named after Y. A. Gagarin; of the "SSU named ater N. G. Chernyshevsky"; the UC Botanical garden of the "SSU named N. G. Chernyshevsky"; Balashov Institute (branch) FSBEI "SSU named N. G. Chernyshevsky"; GBU SODA "OZEKI"; MOU MEL named after A. G. Schnittke Engels City.

The reports on the problems of preservation of biodiversity and development of specially protected natural territories were made by:

To close the webinar, a resolution was adopted that includes the following areas:

1. Because of the Year of ecology in the Russian Federation, the Year of specially protected natural territories and the year of science in Belarus they should work more on awareness of natural heritage through close interaction with special structures in the field of environmental protection and scientific-pedagogical society.
To make agreements on cooperation between agencies, organizations in the field of environmental protection and conservation of biodiversity.
Pay special attention to the training of students and staff from use compatible issues of environmental protection and conservation of biodiversity. To propose areas of work on environmental upbringing and education in the field of "school-university-research Institute".

To provide wider coverage in mass media of different levels of events and projects in the field of research and protection of nature
To expand activity of public ecological control over the state of the protected areas, to intensify the work of the Universities in PA.

6. To intensify educational and promotional activities, including television and the Internet, on the organization of eсologo-educational programs for young people.
