Valeri Radaev visited the SSAU named after N.I. Vavilov

In the period when students are choosing their future profession the Governor of the Saratov region Valeri Radaev visited the Saratov state agrarian University to assess the prospects for the development and training of engineering specialists for the agroindustrial complex of the region. The rector N. Kuznetsov together with the scientists and teaching staff of the University showed the Governor the innovative projects of the University: training-fire-rescue part, which trains highly qualified specialists of the MES, the class of innovative agricultural machinery company Rostselmash, where you can find combine harvesters, modern tractors, aggregates tillage and seeding equipment, a modern laboratory for quality control of fuels and lubricants, hardware which allows you to control the quality of petroleum products, fuel and oil, the presence of metal-containing octane additives in gasoline and the octane number, the trade centre "Agroprodukt" where the products of the Complex “Agrozenter” are presented and which is known for 80 years as "Korolkov garden", a wide range of natural products from raw meat and bakery products. Valeri Vasilyevich visited a new engineering center, which aims are technical and production support for innovation of creativity of children and youth, conducting regular training activities, acquisition of practical skills of students on modern machines and machine tools. During the sdudying the equipment will be used for the realization of ideas and projects of pupils, students, post-graduates, including production of 3D models agrolandscape projects, graphic imaging, manufacturing of parts, machining various surfaces, the collection and programming of robotics. Valeri Radaev met the students who often take part in sporting competitions for the honor of the University and the region – the team of the Saratov state agricultural university and the handball club "SSAU-Saratov", which plays today in the Superleague of the championship of Russia. This is not surprisingly because the history of the Saratov Agrarian University is rich in sports tradition and triumphs. The recent victory of the Agrarian University was "gold" in VI summer Universiade institutions of the Ministry of agriculture of Russia. Skillfully chosen tactics and a stubborn desire to win helped athletes win. This is the seventh victory of the Saratov state agrarian University in the Universiades held by Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation. Valeri Radaev congratulated the athletes and noted that "...the Saratov state agricultural University is for me the best Institute in Saratov. You are the best in sport and in the cultural and creative life. Agricultural University perfectly represents the region in many directions." At the end of the meeting the Governor awarded the students and staff of the University with the letters of thanks and wished the University not to lose the leading position.
